What we hold, why we hold it, and who else can see it. There is no advertising network behind this site and nothing here is sold on.
The email address you sign in with. Your name and phone number, if you type them in — both are optional, and the phone number is only asked for because the other side has to be able to reach you.
What you post: a listing and everything on it, including its photographs and the address or pin you place on the map.
What you send: a message, an application, a call-back request, a comment, a review, a report or a line of feedback.
What you keep privately against a listing: a note only you can read, and whether you have hidden it from your own map.
A listing is a public page with its own address, and search engines are invited to read it. Everything you put on a listing — including a phone number you type into its text — can be read by anyone. Treat it as a noticeboard in a market, not a letter.
An account is not public. Your email address is never shown on a listing, and we do not publish a directory of the people who signed up.
No advertiser, no data broker, no lead buyer. We do not sell, rent or trade anything on this site, and there is no analytics or advertising script on any page.
Three outside services are contacted by your browser as a page loads, and each of them sees your IP address because that is how a browser fetches a file: the map provider that serves the basemap tiles, Google Fonts, and the CDN that serves the map library. None of them is sent your email address, your account or what you searched for.
We will hand something over if a court or a lawful authority in India requires it, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden to.
One, and it is the session cookie that remembers you are signed in. There is nothing for advertising, nothing for measurement, and so there is no consent banner to click through.
A listing stays until you delete it or it is taken down under the listing rules. Your account row stays until you ask for it to go.
Write to hello@freebroker.app from the address you signed in with and we will delete the account and everything posted under it. There is nothing to negotiate and no retention screen to get past.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change is dated here and the date above moves.
